Actually, I asked Mr. Nixon if I could leave for about an hour. I was really busy, but I had to come today. Even if I loved to spend time with Serena, I didn't come here because of that. I needed to see someone else who I really didn't want to see at all. I left the lift on the lower floor, and I saw the same receptionist.
"Mr. Caldwell."
"I want to speak to Miss Benett. Could you call her out for me?"
"Of course."
She picked up the phone and asked to find her to come.
"Please, when she comes I want you to stay here."
She nodded.
"Of course, Mr. Caldwell."
I waited for about a minute when she stepped out the door. She was smiling at me and wanted to hug me, but I pushed her away.
"What's happened, Kaiden?"
"Darla, wasn't I clear enough last time?
