As I made my way out the door, running down the stairs, all I could do was think about how stupid I am. Why did I have to ask to kiss her? I have always felt attracted to Magnolia. She was beautiful even if she didn’t know it. To be honest, I found it even sexier that she didn’t. The fact that we shared the same interest drove my desire even further. We grew up together. We used to do everything together when we were younger. I hated being away from her when I was in college. I worked so hard to come back to her as fast as I could. I fought to be allowed to teach at the school she was at. They assumed I would have an inappropriate relationship with a student since I was so young.
