Chapter Ten: SolutionShe wakes to flashes in her face and she must have made a noise because the next moment, a pair of hands are wrapped around her, pulling her into a warm lap. Warm blankets are wrapped around her. "I'm here. I've got you," a familiar voice murmurs.
Another voice says. "Miss Anna, there's no need to worry. We're just making records of your injuries."
What injuries? She feels fine. Just a little dizzy. She blinks awake and looks around her in confusion. The room is as unfamiliar to her as the doctor and nurse. She's wearing a hospital gown and when she reaches a hand to her head, she finds herself wearing some sort of bandage. She touches a bump on the back of her head that causes her to flinch.
"Don't touch that, love," Dominic says, the endearment rolling off his ton
