Chapter Nine: AwakeMy body aches all over when I'm awake. I try to stretch my arms over my head and feels a stinging pain on my shoulder. There's a warm blanket draped over me and there is light coming in through the window. I frown at for a few seconds before understanding that I am in a different room from the one I was in the night before. I feel a pang of pain in my chest at the thought of being alone. I had expected the werewolf to still be here. I can't help but feel abandoned that he's not. The left side of the bed has a slight indent though and is a little warm to the touch.
