Lyra's POV The creaking sound of the door pulled me from my sleep. As I opened my eyes, I took in my surroundings, the faint familiarity of the room sinking in. The beige-and-gold blanket draped over me confirmed my suspicion, as I realized I was in Varg's room. The last thing I remembered was Lucian hitting me, his voice filled with anger as he demanded to know why I’d tried to run away.
