As I leave Noah behind, I can't help but be grateful to have him as my other half.
Sera: If only his beta and gamma weren't such c**k blockers.
Aqua: I agree.
Andrea: Aqua! I didn't expect that from you.
Aqua: Hey, a girl has needs.
Andrea: True.
On my way upstairs, I ran into Jack. He barely even noticed me except for the slight twitch of his nose that made him raise up his head.
"Oh," he looks deflated as he sees me, "hey Luna."
"Well, that's a piss worthy greeting if I've heard one," I replied teasingly.
"I'm sorry," he apologized, completely forlorn, "I thought I caught her scent, but I guess I was wrong."
"I was just messing with you, but I can see that you are not in the right mood. You probably did smell her because I borrowed some of her clothes," I replied.
"Okay," he whispered, seemingly lost.
Aqua: Wow he is hurting.
Sera: No one told him to be a manwhore.
Andrea: Guys, you know why.
Aqua: We should help him.
"Want to talk about it?" I offered, even though I know what it's about.
"It's just you know, Angie," he starts.
Sera: Yeah we know.
I let out a deep breath.
"Come and have a seat," I gesture to the spot on the sofa in front of me.
Sera: You're too nice.
He flops down onto the spot and sulks.
"Who are you?" I ask.
Aqua: What are you doing?
"Huh?" he looks at me quizzically.
"Who are you?" I asked a little harder.
Sera: I see.
"Umm...Jack?"
"Are you asking me or telling me?"
"Telling you"
"I can't hear you"
"I'm JACK!" he yells.
"Right, and who is Jack?"
"Jackson de Luca, Beta of Eclipse Moon and CFO of Eclipse Pharmaceuticals," he states with more confidence.
"Exactly!"
Aqua: Oh I get it now.
Sera: How did I end up with you guys again?
Aqua: Because the Moon Goddess deemed it so.
"Now, tell me what happened and then maybe I can help you," I urge him.
As he explains to me the situation, I nod along, knowing it was exactly as I thought.
"Okay, that makes sense. First, stop whining. Second, this is salvageable." I tell him.
Sera: Thank Goddess someone said so.
"How?" he asks, hope shining in his eyes.
"She is willing to give you a chance, BUT you have to work for it"
"I will do anything," he says.
"I know, but do you have any idea about what to do?" I ask him.
"Yeah! Uhm...." he hums as he thinks of how to win back his mate.
Sera: Goddess, just put him out of his misery.
Aqua: Do it or I will.
Andrea: Woah, Aqua. You good?
Aqua: I just want mates to be together. It should not be this hard for everyone.
Andrea: Yes, but girl solidarity. Angie is our friend, and we have to be on her side because she isn't in the wrong.
Aqua: True
Sera: Okay, enough. Just help him before his whining makes me put him on fire.
Andrea: Sera...
Sera: I'm joking... Mostly...
"I'll help you out, but I'm just going to guide you." I tell him.
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Thank you, Luna"
"No problem. Now, go get preparations started. I will tell you everything later. For now, I have other things planned," I let him know and walk towards my room.
Andrea: How much longer my Alpha?
Noah: Just a bit my little mate.
Andrea: I'm waiting for you...
Noah: I love you little mate. I'll make it worth the wait.
Andrea: You always do.
