You’ve been gone only a day from London and already there is much to tell you. With the oath we three swore to Lady Fairbank, I feel you ought to be apprised of the developing details we are obliged to keep secure.

Lady Fairbank directed us to the terrace of her brother-in-law, Lord Wayne Fairbank., at number 8A, Park Crescent, overlooking eight acres of private gardens. It is central to a grand arc of magnificent terraces, half of which are still under construction, all of which are beyond comparison to anything else south of Marylebone Road. In itself, number 8A is twenty rooms strong.
