CHAPTER FOURTEEN Officer Hamilton helped Polidori lift the body of the week’s earlier victim onto the central butcher’s block. He was younger than the elderly gentleman at his side, but taller, his bare feet hanging over the end of the table. “Do you think they could be family?” Hamilton said. Polidori gently pushed strands of blonde hair back from the younger’s forehead. “They do have similar facial features, particularly the nose and brow.” He picked up his ledger and started to sketch.
