***Kenzie POV***

*1: Be quiet ( She said as we quietly passed through the door.) At last, freedom (She said as we ran like our lives depended on it, because it did. Hi, my name is Kenzie. Skip the last name. I am 16 years old. Now how did this all happen? Oh, that's it. A few years ago, ugh!, I mean 7 years ago, vampires conquered the whole world. They were cruel and tormented us humans. He was mean, bossy and always tried to suck my blood, but mum was always there for me, instead of him sticking those two blades he calls "fangs" into my neck. Mum always sacrificed herself. When he's done with her, he throws us back into our cages and locks us there. He doesn't remember where humans are and, hello, we need to eat, even though it's once a day, and when he does remember what he eventually gives us is what I am sure my dog won't eat. Last time he gave us a pile of dirt with some worms in it. "Nutritional" he said, that was the last straw. We weren't safe again in his house, so we waited for when he regularly goes out and bam! Kenzie: (quietly) Mum, how much longer? My legs are tired (plus I am hungry!)

#2: Throw her in already (he ordered as the other one tossed me in and shut the cage.)

Kenzie: Mum!

*1: Kenzie, let her go (She said, still trying to push him down.)

#1: What should I do with her? (he said, looking disguised at my mum.) She's old and i bet with the look of those bite marks on her neck more than 5 vamps have sucked her. Her blood must taste old.

#2: Kill her what else (and I watched how they brutally killed my mom, chopped off her head. I was speechless, they really are monsters, no matter how much I shouted and yelled, they didn't even think twice.)

#1: Annoying humans (he said as he cleaned his hand.)

#2: Let's start going. I don't want to be in trouble again. We got a good number of 11 this time.

#1: Yeah, better than last time, let's go (and with that they carried me along with the rest to some kind of palace.)

Kenzie: Them? Whose's them?

?1: Who else? (it was a guy in the cage with me). Don't tell me you don't know why you are here.

?2: For food, what else (a lady said) they plan to suck us dry, eventually killing us.

Kenzie: Killing us? (my heart dropped) and you are all fine with this.

?2: What do you want us to do? It's hopeless

Kenzie: Let's at least try to escape

?1: Don't waste the remaining time you have talking about the impossible. If I were you, I'd be saying my last prayers.

Kenzie: What? (These people are hopeless). That's why you aren't me.(I said as I managed to open the cage) I won't sit around waiting for death. I refused to be killed by some bunch of bloodsuckers. (then the door opened, and I quickly hid under a huge dining table.) (I hoped they didn't see me).

???1: Finally, I am starving. Let's begin (one of them said as they carried them one by one it was so awful, their screams filled the halls. Before I knew it, they drained them all.)

???3: But we only counted 10 (damn it!)

???4: Are you sure you can count? (he asked those two idiots from before.)

#1: Yes, I promise they were 11(he said as I could hear the fear in his voice). Trust m..me

#2: Yes, wait! That girl (they noticed) where did she go to? (they said as I could hear their footsteps walking up and down, left and right.)

???5: Wait! Do you smell that?

???2: Smell what? Xaviour.

Xaviour: Blood Zayne Blood.

???3: Fresh one, for that matter

Zayne: You too, Darien, smell it.

Darien: Yes, Nathaniel, Zack tell me you guys and also smell it.

Nathaniel: Where is it com....(I sneezed and some bent and saw me.)

Zack: Found her (he said as he forcefully dragged me out.)

Kenzie: Aah! Let go of me

Zayne: Would you look at that? The food is rebelling

Kenzie: I am no one's food (I can't believe it, I just talked back at a vampire. I am so scared right now)

#1: Shut up, Fable humans (he said as he hit me across the face as i kept quiet.)

Zayne: Now, what are we to do with her? I don't feel like eating again.

Darien: Neither do we.

Zack: But what to do?

Nathaniel: (Smiles) I have a really fun idea (he said as the rest laughed behind him, now I am sure I am actually doomed.)
