Adrianna's POV
I stood up cautiously and grabbed the lamp by my bedside. Then stealthily, I made my way to the door. I could see no one but I felt the presence hang heavily in the room. I felt as though someone had brushed my back and I turned around with speed ready to hit whoever it was hard on the head but I met only with air.
But I did feel it; the sword passing through me but I could see nobody in the room.
The door was pushed open just then and Theo came in. His face turned white when he saw the word jutting out of my stomach.
Just as I was about to collapse to the ground Theo held my hand.
As my eyes began to shut my body down I had one name on my lips.
