CHAPTER FIFTY-FIVE The night encroached quickly, long shadows impenetrable, details difficult to discern. From his spot amongst the trees, Reece had to squint to gain a decent view of the three men who dismounted and kicked their way through the ruined shack. He recognized them all, his shock at seeing Turner only eclipsed by the sight of the big blacksmith Hanson. Why were they here?
