I got up after Caspian and Kane left my room. I took a deep breath to calm my heart and walked towards the wardrobe. I didn’t ask about the omega, who I rescued a few days ago. I quickly dialled Lydia’s number and pressed the call icon. She picked up after a ring.
“Hello, Ray! Where are you? I haven't seen you for the last few days. Are you okay, girl?” A smile crept onto my face when I heard her sweet and concerned voice. At least, I have some people in my life to count on. I am not alone like before.
“Yes, I am okay! I am on a mission, as you know, but I wanted to ask about the omega, which we rescued a few days ago,” I said, and she started telling me about her.
