My heart was beating like a drum and I felt like someone had sucked my soul out of my body.
“Kane!!! Please open your eyes,” I said while patting his cheek, and he slowly started opening his eyes.
“Oh, My Goddess! Are you okay?” I asked in a trembling voice, and he slowly nodded while trying to open his seatbelt. I quickly helped him while Caspian was helping Myles. A few shards of glass were present in his arms and chest but Kane was not affected as much as Myles.
