Epilogue“Tell me again!” she whispered. It was obvious now that speaking was becoming more of an effort. Her small, thin, frail body was practically swallowed up by the bed they'd shared for so many years. Painstakingly, he had pulled the blanket up and tucked it under her chin, and if anyone were to look at her from above she'd resemble a disembodied head resting on a pillow.
