I didn’t know how we got here.
One second, we were yelling at each other, and the next, my back was against the wall, Jake’s tall frame looming over me, his hand braced beside my head.
Towering over me, his dark eyes blazing with an intensity that made my pulse skyrocket. His hand braced against the wall next to my head, his body so close that the heat of him wrapped around me, making it impossible to think clearly.
