“What am I doing here? No, what are you doing, f*****g your best friend’s daughter, huh?”
“You don’t understand…” He cut me off with words that stung. Every one of them was true. Damn! I was a bastard!
“Are you really going to stand here and criticize Mr. Blackwell and side with the real monster here?” I heard Eliana say as she stepped forward.
“What do you mean?” Collin asked, confused.
“I’m pretty sure you know exactly what I mean since you know it all. The prick whom you believed his every word, just tried to r**e me. If Mr. Blackwell and my friend hadn’t been here on time—” She broke off, unable to say the words. “But you stand there, demeaning my savior and backing that monster!”
