Melanie's POV
I stepped out of the car in front of Aria’s building, and the soft sun rays kissed my skin. The day was beautiful; honestly, the past few days had been good as well.
Things were good with Idris... almost perfect. He was around more, which had to mean something; my workload was lighter, and I didn’t feel as trapped as before.
I pulled out the shopping bags from the back seat and made my way into the building.
I hadn’t seen or heard from Aria after our last “hangout.” I figured her breakup was still taking a toll on her, but she needed comfort. I knew that was what I needed when I was worried about my relationship, and I was hoping the mood from last time had washed away by now.
