"We will call you then,'' said Saito. They then walk out of the shadow area. "How does it feel to make a contract with the shadows,'' said Kurogane. “It feels great, I thought they wouldn't accept me because I am half-human,” said Saito. “They usually don't care if they are human or supernatural beings, what they hate is being used like a tool,'' said Kurogane. “I read about shadows and what to expect when making deals and contracts which is why I agreed with Ren, when she picked the shadows,” said Saito. “I asked you because usually, some don't get contracts with them because they all have high expectations and because they think it's boring," said Kurogane. “Well, I'm glad they don't think of us like that, we should get going,” said Saito. “Oh you forgot, before we leave we have to go to this special lake. The water will determine if they approve of you having this power, follow me as Kurogane looks at them. Then they walk out the door and pass some of the other elements. “Here is the garden, I just mentioned,'' said Kurogane. They then stood right there waiting at the lake. Hello Saito, Ren, and Kurogane as someone, appeared out of the water with long watery hair and red eyes. Came out from the lake. “My name is Lu, I'm the ruler of the whole garden, you're looking for something and you also want to be strong,'' said Lu. “Yes that is correct and we do want to achieve our goal as well,'' said Saito and Ren. “How confident, I like that but In order to keep the power of shadow, you must beat the leader of each element, with your own power and your shadow magic,'' said Lu. We understand as they kneeled on one knee on the ground. “Please stand, when you battle them, you must prove that you are skillful to also be a shadow user,'' said Lu. As Lu summoned, water, ice, fire, poison, light, and spiritual, shadow, runes and nature, lighting, wind, and earth. “We accept the terms,'' said Saito. They then took a deep breath and concentrated their power. “Saito, Ren, are you both Ready?” said Lu. “Kurogane, you should stand back and watch us,'' said Saito. I will said Kurogane as he takes 5 steps back and sits in a chair. “We are ready now,'' said Ren. Which elements do you choose first? They looked at each other and said fire Alright then the fire leader then moved forward “hello miss it's a pleasure to battle you he said in a charming voice. “Same for you too as I said in a calming voice. “You and your familiar will not beat me at all,'' said the fire leader. “DON'T BE TOO COCKY OR YOU MIGHT JUST LOSE YOUR WINNING STEAKS,” said Saito as she had shown him she was confident. They then started fighting. Saito then blocks his fire kick. Ren transformed to her human-like form and Saito and Ren then combined their power and blasted a big fireball at the fire leader. Making him hit the wall ending their fight really fast. “Wait, I wasn't ready yet, not fair," said the fire leader as he fainted. “Who's next to fight us?'' said Saito. "Me?" Said the water leader as she started to form water and blast it at Saito. Which pushed her into the pond. “Oh, how nice of you it feels refreshing that you gave me water,'' said Saito as she then turned into her mermaid form. “WHAT I DIDN'T KNOW SHE WAS ONE,” said the water leader. “That's your big mistake,'' said Saito as she used her voice and made her lose control and Saito then made the water leader pass out. Saito got out the pound okay who's as she cracks her knuckles. The next one is me as the shadow leader walks up to them. Saito and Ren looked at each other and they then switched to their shadow to let them take over. “Hello leader, we will show you we were pushovers as you thought we were alright,” said the shadows. “Show me your strength and that you're not what I think you are,'' said the shadow leader. As he had a smug face towards the shadows they then laughed at the leader. “What so funny you haven't won just yet,” said the shadow leader. As his aura got darker he then consumed his own energy and fired it at one of the shadows which hit Ren's body. Hey are you okay as the shadow in Saito’s body lifted the other Shadow up. “I'm good, we can't give up being stuck in that room training endlessly, I can't stand it,” said the shadow in Ren. “Then we have to win no matter what since we trained so hard those times ago,” said the shadow in Saito’s body. They then held each other's hands to cast their spell, everything then turned completely dark making it impossible to see anything. “Impressive you two combine your power and also using your new master power they then turn into shadows and went into the shadow leader shadow and they then use fire.(looks like these two won't give up until they win even with their current condition they made it this far) said the shadow leader. “Ow using fire in a shadow knowing that whoever the shadow is attached to, any magic that relates to light will fade away,” said the shadow leader. (If I use Saito’s rare power but if I do use this I don't know what the outcome will be and what the side effects are) said the shadow. “Ha you're afraid we will win, leaving you in the dust,'' they both said to the shadow leader. “Me afraid you're being cocky, I'm not sure if you got what it takes to defeat me'' said the shadow leader. Saito’s shadow then looked at Ren’s shadow, a shadow paw sneaked right behind the leader and stuck him in the shoulder. I give up, you win, good job. It seems you two proved yourself as he disappeared in the dark. They then left the shadow leader’s shadow. Alright, we win we will be switching back now Saito and Ren then gain consciousness again. “Ow my left shoulder,” said Ren as the wound started healing on its own. “Are you doing okay?” said Saito. “I'm doing good now,” said Ren as she smiled at Saito. “Thank goodness nothing happened but that's the first time that this had happened but I wasn't able to hear the thoughts of my shadow” one by one Saito and Ren knock out every leader. “That was a nice warm-up,'' but I'm tired,'' said Saito. “Ren, drink some of my blood,'' said Saito. “Are you sure you look, drained from this fight?'' said Ren. “Eh yeah I'm feeling okay, I dozed off but I want you to drink my blood,'' said Saito. “Okay if that's how you feel, master,'' said Ren as her ears dropped down from feeling Saito’s sadness she then bit into Saito’s arm, draining her blood. “I feel better now thank you, master,” said Ren. “Yep, anything for my familiar you also do things for me and help me out,'' said Saito. Lu then claps her hand as she stands up from her chair and she elegantly walks on the water to approach Saito and Ren. “Good job on defeating all the element leaders, I grant you the shadow elements you may keep the shadow magic,'' said Lu. Thank you as they kneel down. “You're welcome, just please watch them, they like to play but they are also kind,'' said Lu. “We will watch out for that,” said Saito and Ren. We actually won as they high-five each other Ren then transformed back to her original form. “Congrats you two,” said Kurogane. “Thanks for taking us here and for letting us stay at your place,'' said Saito. “No problem at all,” said Kurogane. They all waved goodbye to Lu. She waved to them as well and they then left the garden of elements and something started clicking very loudly, making Saito and Ren unconscious. Oh no Saito, Ren can you hear me, their eyes change, clocks are forming in their eyes. He then casts a spell to seal the power of time within their eyes now please work as he placed. “The spell on her and Ren is starting to break,” said Kurogane, blood started to drip from his mouth. “Not again, it just happened not too long ago, maybe because that day is near,'' said Kurogane. I can’t seem to use my healing ability, I then grab a potion from my storage pouch and I then drink it fast before they realize that it has happened again, I don't want them to worry. They then opened their eyes and yawned. “What happened to us I can't remember clearly?'' said Saito and Ren as they rub their eyes from just waking up ''Oh it was nothing you two must be tired” said Kurogane. “Yeah we are, we should take a break, I'm still tired. It has been a long day since time works differently here,'' said Saito. She then lays on the grass, Ren then joins her and they then fall asleep. Already! So fast and so carefree as he smiled at them sleeping next to each other (That was a close call he sighs…. I should go call him). He then used telepathy to contact his familiar Silver. (Can you hear me? Silver) “Yes, master, what can I do for you?'' said Silver as he was rolling around on the grass in the front yard. “I need you to prepare the guest room,'' said Kurogane. “We have guests?” said Silver. “Yes, some important guests, I need you to also ask Ming and Miko to assist you,'' said Kurogane. “I will inform them right now,” said Silver. “Please do and tell them we have guests tell the maids to pick sakura in our garden,'' said Kurogane. “Right away master,” said Silver. “Thank you and I will see you once I get back,'' said Kurogane. They then ended their communication with each other. Silver then went inside to tell Ming and Miko. Master wanted me to tell you to get the room ready. “Will do,” said Ming and Miko as they went to the guest room and placed a washed sheet on the bed and along with pillows. “We are done, now,” said Ming and Miko. They both walk down the stairs. “What else did master Kurogane ask of you?'' Silver,” said Miko. “Master said to pick up some sakura in the garden and place it in this special glass. He recently came back with the one decorated with clocks and gears,'' said Silver. They then flew to the garden picking the flowers that freshly bloomed. Here Ming as Miko hands her a few flowers. “I think master Kurogane would want us to place it in the hot spring as well,” said Ming and Miko. They then took the flowers off the branch and placed it in a bowl. They then walked all the way to where the hot spring was located in the mansion. They then placed the flowers on the water and the water formed bubbles around each of the sakura. After they finished they headed toward the guest room. “Silver, can you get us the vase that master Kurogane mentioned to you as well?'' said Ming and Miko as they shouted to Silver. He then went into Kurogane's room and took the time gear vase. He then flew to where the maids were at. Here you go as he gave them the vase. We're all done with the preparations now; they both did some extra cleaning to be sure everything is good. “What that smell,” said Miko as she looked around. “Now that you think of it, I did smell something for a while,” said Ming. Silver then quickly flies away. “WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING SILVER!!!” said Ming and Miko. As their wings came out their backs and they then flew after Silver who was still flying away. “I'm going to get some fresh air, where else would I go," said Silver. "Ha like we believe that, you know we have guests don't run away, you need a bath," said Ming and Miko. (They are too good, I can't seem to get away with it, not even for a second I wanted to smell like the grass). They then jumped on Silver making him stop right there but before they fell down Ming teleported a bed underneath them. “I give up,” said Silver as he started whining at them.
