Outside where Kurogane was waiting. I wonder what's taking so long as Kurogane looks around. The sky turned dark and the moon was covered by black clouds. A shadow then appeared behind him and started whispering in his ear. "It's you again, what do you want this time?" said Kurogane. "I was wondering when you will give me that book, which is why I appeared in your secret garden, that you made just for her," said the mysterious guy as he laughed. “That's none of your business, so that is your reason for coming back again, why do you care if I had to guess it's Alice right, you want her for your sick reason to keep her as your exotic pet,” said Kurogane. “Bingo you got it correct the first part is correct and who knows and the last part you said about me keeping her as a pet,” said the mysterious guy as he smirked at him. “Why are you doing this to Alice? Do you think her existence is a toy for you to play with and I don't care if you have the book, why tell me that I'm not giving the book to you?” said Kurogane as he glared at him. “My reason is my reason and I’ll never tell you even if you try to ask me the question repeatedly and I have my ways and it seems you were wrong but I need the one you have, so hand it over,” said the mysterious guy. “Ha, like I give it to you that easily,” said Kurogane. The decoy shadow of the mysterious guy then went in front of his face. “You say that now but I will get it one way or another,” said the mysterious guy. “Try it if you want, it won't work, I'm hard to c***k,” said Kurogane. “How bold of you, seems you have a lot of pride, very well you two seem attached,” said the mysterious guy. “What if we are that has nothing to do with you and don't be so full of yourself,” said Kurogane. “You won't be able to protect her forever, you know and I can out smart you any day,'' said the mysterious guy. He then disappeared and the night sky turned normal. “Suki, do you hear me,” said the mysterious guy. “I hear you loud and clear, master,” said Suki as followed Kai, Sage, and Ryu from behind. “I need you to fight Kurogane and steal the book from him,” said the mysterious guy. “As you wish, master,” said Suki. The mysterious guy then called Xi. “Yeah I know what to do,” said Xi as he smirked. “Here’s the location,” said the mysterious guy. “I will send Xue there immediately, I will pass it on to him,” said Xi. Their telepathy ended, the mysterious guy then continued to watch Alice and Silver on his end. “Xue met me in my office,'' said Xi as he called him using a hologram phone. “Yes, Master Xi, I will head there soon,” said Xue as he went into Xi’s office. “Xue I want you to take this book as Xi shows him the picture, and I also want that girl again,” said Xi. “Yes, master Xi, I won't fail you, I will retrieve that book and Saito,” said Xue. “Very good, remember if you do fail, your punishment will be death,” said Xi. “I fully understand as a supernatural hunter, master Xi,” said Xue. “I will teleport you there using the dragon orb,” said Xi. The orb then teleported him outside of Kurogane Barrier on the other side of the barrier. He heard someone and hid behind the tree. “I feel them approaching the barrier, they're finally here,” said Kurogane as he laughed. “I can't wait to have fun,” said Kurogane as his eyes glow in the dark as he smirks. They then followed the star. “We're almost close by now,” said Kai. “How can you tell?” said Sage and Ryu as they followed Kai from behind. “Because the color was blue and now it's purple, when it turns black that means we are there,” said Kai. A few minutes later the color changed to black the star played music and then landed on the ground in front of the barrier. “Before you two break the barrier, let's take a break,” said Kai. They all then looked at each other and then sat near the tree. “When midnight comes, that's when we strike,” said Kai as they fell asleep. Xue then watched from afar using a potion, he was given a while back from Xi. He then waited until the right time to attack Kurogane. “If I plan this right, those guys can fight him first and when he is weak I can take his book and Saito, I can finally get my rematch with her as he covered his face with his cloak. “That guy's name, I heard it from master Xi one time but I wasn't sure if it was him or not, I can't see his face so well, I think it's just some kind of coincidence,” said Xue. As he opens his locket with an old picture of him and someone else in it. “Hey wake up, it's midnight now, break the barrier,” said Kai and he started stretching his arms and legs. Kai then got tools out and he held on to his katana in his left hand. “Alright then since you're so full of energy Kai then let's get started then,” said Sage and Ryu as they both yawn. They then cast the spell and said combine our power, break the seal as we command and hear our demands as we enchant our spell. The barrier then shattered sparking in the moonlight. “I was expecting you, I won't let you have Saito and Ren,'' said Kurogane as he had an angry look on his face. “You don't seem to realize how perfect your timing is, look up at the sky, you airheads, because this is a fight, you're not gonna win,” said Kurogane as he laughed at them. “Who are you calling airheads,” said Sage and Ryu as they glared at Kurogane intensely. “Well, who else would I say it to, plus look? It's the full moon which means, I get stronger when the moon is out and bigger too,” said Kurogane. He then transforms into a giant wolf, his eyes glowing yellow as he growls at them. “Well, well, this will be interesting, I always wanted to challenge a wolf, I just got my wish today,” said Kai. “You humans really think you can beat us just because you caught some of our kind, what a joke,” said Kurogane. He then attacked Kai as Kurogane was hitting him. Kai then did a flip and landed on the tree branch, and jumped on top of the light pole. Kai then threw his explosive at Kurogane; it then hit his paws and injured him; he then coughed from the smoke. Kurogane's injury then healed immediately. “That's good, you had that trick, but it wasn't good enough, I won't miss the next time,” said Kurogane. “Well I was trained to be a ninja, when I was young by my grandmaster, he taught everything I needed to be one, so yeah and that is not the only thing I know,” said Kai as he got ready for the next plan. He then placed his hand behind his back to take out his kunai knife with a small destructive bomb. He then threw the kunai knife in front of Kurogane. “That small knife you place in front of me, is the best you can do,” said Kurogane as he laughed and cast a spell to stop the bomb. After he made the bomb stop, Kurogane crushed the bomb with his left paw. “You found out, my plan but I have more,” said Kai then took out his caltrop tashibishi and tossed it on the ground. Kurogane didn't see it was on the ground and stubbed his paws and back legs. Kurogane then jumped back avoiding the remaining caltrop tashishi that he didn't step on. His wounds then closed up; he then shakes his whole body remaining in his wolf form. Without turning back to his original form. “You a tough wolf, aren't you and you're not evening giving up after, you step on a very sharp tool, I gave you as a present,” said Kai. As he spoke on top of the pole. “You must take me as a naive guy but I strongly suggest you drop that ego and fight me down here, you've been on there long enough,” said Kurogane. “Nope not taking that chance, I'm not gonna be your meal, not today or ever,” said Kai as he did a heavy sigh and put a thumbs down and stuck out his tongue. “You're still a child, I've been alive longer than you and your partner and that so-called mayor, he's just an arrogant guy with a giant ego, and eating you will give me a stomach ache,” said Kurogane as he started to howl at the moon. “Hey Sage, Ryu seal his magic while he’s busy,” said Kai. Sage and Ryu then prepared to cast their spell but before they could they got interrupted. “I have excellent hearing, I suggest you don't mess with me,'' said Kurogane as he slams them into a tree. “Why are these seal breakers weak? They can't fight but they have lots of mana and they don't lack it but they look like supernatural beings but something is also off about them,” said Kurogane. “It seems you beat them, oh well, I'm still awake, come at me dog,” said Kai. “Don't call me a dog, they are just mutts, nothing more than human-pets, they're not even close to being familiars,” said Kurogane. “Oh I seem to have struck a chord with you,” said Kai as he jumped down. He then attacks Kurogane with several kicks back to back. “You're good but I won't let you win this round or the next one as he then swings his tail and hits Kai towards the tree. “I can't believe, I got beaten by a big dog, I won't forget this,” said Kai as he fainted along with Sage and Ryu. “I’m a wolf, how many time must I repeat this you stupid human, this is my warning,” said Kurogane. I then teleported them to their boss's office. Let's see how everything goes for all of you when he sees you in his office. He then transforms back to his half form. Xue then gasps from seeing Kurogane’s face. “That can't be but, this is what I was told to do,” said Xue as he came out from hiding. “What happened Kurogane I heard loud noises and insults being thrown at you?” said Saito as she used her telepathy to talk to him. “Oh you heard those guys, I got rid of the intruders,” said Kurogane as he explained everything to Saito. “Oh, so that’s what happened, because we heard it when we were sleeping and woke up from it,” said Saito. Someone then approaches Kurogane and smirks at him. That smell, is that him? Kurogane turned around with a shocked face, when he saw Xue. “Kurogane, are you still there? I can't hear him anymore, he must have gotten tired,” said Saito. (I’m sorry Saito I can't let you know just yet, I must deal with this matter myself). “Long time no see old friend, it's been 3,000 years since we last saw each other you haven't changed one bit have you,” said Xue. “Yes indeed, it has been a long time since you betrayed me and killed all those innocent supernatural beings and It's none of your concern whether I change or not,'' said Kurogane. “Ah I'm still the bad guy in your eyes, I did what I had to, killing them was fun, I enjoyed it, I didn't kill you because we were best friends, hence why I spared you Kurogane,” said Xue. “The first time I met you, Xue you were never like this, how disappointing,” said Kurogane as he growled at him. “Kurogane, my old friend, you never knew the real me, did you? I was born to be a supernatural hunter and to kill any supernatural being,” said Xue. “No, what you did was kill for glory and money, some of the ones you killed were evil and the rest were good, I bet you can't explain,” said Kurogane as he glared at Xue. “That look on your face I remembered that day, I killed them, you made that same exact face just like what you're doing now and you make a valid point but they were in the way so I got rid of them because they were a nuisance,” said Xue. “Is that how you treat life?” Said Kurogane. “Ha you're lecturing me about supernatural beings, how about the humans you killed, don't they have a saying in all this,” said Xue as he laughed. “That is different do you know what they do to supernatural beings every day, they t*****e them on a daily basis so how can I spare evil humans?” said Kurogane. “You're so full of it Kurogane, I have a mission, so quit with this chit chat, we're having,” said Xue as he took out his bow and arrows and placed a silver ruby knife on the bow. That knife is known to hurt or even kill Supernatural beings with one hit to the heart. “You pick up the skills to be one, I underestimate you, Xue,” said Kurogane. Xue shot the knife at Kurogane but it missed and hit the right side of his cheeks. He then smugs the blood off his face. The cut isn't healing like it usually would, so it’s not a fake knife. He cast his water spell along with lightning and aimed it at Xue. He then moved to the side dodging it. Kurogane then kicked him in the stomach; he then fell to the ground and placed one foot on Xue’s stomach.
