PEGGY'S POV
We both walked into the huge mansion as the butler appeared and collected our bags from us.
"Good day Sir Nathan. Good evening miss Peggy." The butler gave a bow and welcomed us.
"My mom?" Nathan asked.
"She'll be with you shortly." He replied and excused himself. I walked ahead of Nathan and sat on one of the single seater couch, knowing Nathan would have loved to sit with me. Just when he glared at me, Mrs Daniels appeared and she honestly seemed to be more elated to see me, than she was to see her son.
"Oh my goodness!! Peggy darling come here." She opened her arms in invitation for a hug and I ran into her embrace. "Oh you precious child. How I've missed you! Nathan is so horrible for having not brought you to see me all these while." She blamed.
