NATHAN'S POV When Mila had called me a week ago to make plans for Carter's birthday, I was glad because Carter had probably gotten what he had been looking for, for a while. Mila cared about him deeply and it was very obvious. I hummed to the music that played in my car as I drove to Carter's new place. Mila had asked me to come earlier, so I could assist in the little decorations that had to be done. When I drove into the house, my jaw dropped in appreciation.
