White as sheet! That was the state of my face when Lizzy had announced the ongoing divorce. I couldn't really pinpoint the kind of vibes Mr Spencer gave, but he seemed like an extremely proud man. It was crystal clear in his eyes that he wasn't ready to let go of Lizzy, but he just couldn't voice out. Probably, the only reason he might have wanted her to stay was to save face like Lizzy had said. I brushed aside the look of longing I saw in his eyes as a pigment of my wild imaginations. But then, even if he begged her to stay, it was highly unlikely that she was going to consider it. Clearly, the woman had seen hell sticking by his side all through these years. Lizzy deserved a chance at a freedom and true and real love too.
