MILA'S POV I had woken up in a dark room and squinted my eyes, trying to make out a thing in the room, but my efforts were useless. I saw nothing. I hissed at the pain that getting up from my laid position caused my head. "I see you're awake now." I quickly scanned the dark room for the source of the voice and found no one. Where was I by the way? The last thing I remembered was being thrown into a large body of water and slipping out of conciousness. Was I in purgatory or what? Personally, I didn't believe in purgatory but heaven couldn't be filled with so much darkness. Plus, I wasn't supposed to feel any sort of pain in heaven, so what was this throbbing pain in my skull?
