Two days later
Does Jasmine like me? That was something I never thought would happen. I got home from work past 10 pm.
I went into the house and turned on the lights. I went straight to my room so that I could take a shower when I heard giggles coming from Avery’s room.
I stopped briefly, wondering who she might be with. I turned to walk towards the bedroom and stopped in my tracks, failing to open the door.
“I wasn’t always this beautiful. I got my nose fixed, sometimes I think Javier went for a nose fix too. Because seriously look at this picture”, Avery babbled. I could hear the voice of Jasmine in the background giggling.
