I saw Miguel’s missed calls but just decided that I would call him back. After my brief meeting, I went back to my office and it was already half-past twelve and Jasmine wasn’t there.
I took out my phone and called her to find out where she had reached. I couldn’t wait for her here for a long time.
“Hello?” She picked up.
“Where are you?” I questioned her while walking to my office.
‘I am in Miguel’s office. I wanted to…”
“I am on my way”, I interrupted her before she could say anything else. I was on the same floor as her, so I just had to make my way back there.
