  The cordial greeting of the sunrise approached the translucent window by the room when he and Maverick had already caught up on each other's lives for the past six years that Nathan had been away. With empty bottles and plates that were scattered around the glass table, Nathan, who was almost but not quite drunk, stood from his seat and tapped Maverick beside him.
