The saleswoman quickly retracted her hands. Everyone in the country knows how ruthless and unforgiving Chloe can be and no one wants to get on her bad side.
"Do you dare to throw her out now?" Chloe asked the saleswoman daringly.
"I dare not" the saleswoman couldn't even look at her.
"And you two, how much do you think your families have for you to lecture someone else. Wasn't it last 2 months your families joined the circle? Do you think you have the right to talk down on anyone considering how your families has been trying to suck up to people so that they can survive in the circle" Chloe scolded them to her satisfaction.
"And you Mia, haven't you learnt your lesson from last night?" Chloe asked her assistant to send the dress to Mia's father, with the price tag. Mia's father was furious and he said he won't give Mia allowance and use it to pay for the dress. Mia has not been in a good mood since yesterday, she will go a year without allowance since the dress is super expensive. Even her father can't afford it in a month. It can actually be said that they are still in the middle class, her father is just trying his best to belong to the upper echelon. She came out today since Ava offered to take her shopping.
"Ava let's leave this place" Mia couldn't afford to offend Chloe again.
"Why? Are you scared of her? She is just like us, the difference is her power and status, and you shouldn't let her intimidate you with that" Ava said arrogantly.
"You're right. That's what makes us different. I'll surely visit your father and ask for an explanation" Chloe eyed her and face Monalisa.
"Pick whatever you like, I'll pay for it" Chloe said with a smile that isn't a smile.
on a normal day, she won't bother interfering, but she overheard their discussion and she turn out to be Roger's younger sister. She might as well treat her well. She might be her stepping stone to get to Roger.
Monalisa looked at the beautiful woman who just saved her and couldn't help but be shocked by her etheral beauty, especially her deep blue eyes which made her look wild and angelic at the same time.
"Thank you for saving me. But I don't want anything here, just a shirt for my brother and I want to buy it myself" Monalisa said. She doesn't need anyone to pity her.
"Every girl has wants. I am sure there is something you really want but you can't afford. No matter what you pick, I won't feel the impact, I am super duper rich,so, pick whatever you want. Mind you, I am not asking for anything in return, I am just trying to revenge for you. I want you to pick what their fathers can't even afford" Chloe said, enjoying Mia and Ava's reaction.
Monalisa thought about it for a while and she finally agreed.
She has seen the latest Cartier bracelet in the hands of different rich kids and she wants one for herself too. She might as well be greedy this time, another opportunity might not come. So, she picked 3 expensive shirts for her brother, the love shaped Cartier bracelet, the latest Gucci bag and few expensive dresses.
Chloe looked at the girl picking expensive things. Money really change people.
"Your bill is $40,000 ma" The salesgirl said. Mia and Ava were jealous and they eyed Monalisa angrily.
They knew Chloe was rich, but they didn't expect her to spend $40,000 on someone she doesn't know like it is nothing.
Even their father can't spend that kind of money, without it affecting the company
"I'll pay with my card"Chloe brought out her black card with pride, surprising Ava and Mia, and gave the salesgirl to swipe.
Only few people has this card in Los Angeles.
Even Monalisa was shocked.
$40,000?
This will pay her tuition for 4 years.
Just how rich is this young woman?
"I hope you're not angry, I didn't know I bought this much" Monalisa said, feeling guilty.
"It's nothing my darling. You didn't even spend up to 1% of my money. Where do you live, let me drop you off"
Ava and Mia were shocked. Why is Chloe nice to this girl? She's always cold and arrogant and people even said Chloe doesn't allow anybody to enter her car, except for her secretary. Now she is the one offering this poor girl a ride? What is going on?
"Or do you want us to stop by at a restaurant and have dinner first?" Chloe was asking Monalisa, but her gaze was directed elsewhere. Mia and Ava!
"No, no. My brother is a good cook and he will get mad if I eat outside. Why don't you join us for dinner?" Monalisa rejected her offered and offered her dinner instead.
"Sure, I'll just join you" Chloe said with a cunny smile. If she wants Roger, she will have to treat his sister well.
Monalisa followed Chloe to the parking lot. Ava rushed to them angrily.
"Must you always put on a show? We know you are not poor, but you're not rich too. I am sure you'll go hungry for days, after spending so much to show off. You're just a spoilt heiress and your father will scold you for spending so much" Ava said bitterly. She had to admit that Chloe won, but she can't just let her go like that.
"Are you done? When you get home, ask your father who I am." Chloe pushed her aside and walked to the most exotic car in the parking lot.
"Don't you think you should stop here? You still want to pretend the car is yours? Look, nobody is here to watch you show off, so, stop pretending. You can never afford a Lamborghini Veneno Roadster, it's really expensive" Ava said, mockingly.
"Why can't I? It's just $4.5million, one of the smallest cars I have" Chloe said with pride.
"You wish! Even if you sleep with wealthy old mens, you still won't be able to afford it" Ava laughed at her silly joke.
Chloe used the 'let your actions speak' and she unlocked the car and got in, signalling the shocked Monalisa to get in.
Ava and Mia were shocked.
Can't she really afford this expensive car??
Chloe laughed at their expressions and zoomed off.
"Ava, you need to apologize to her or else you'll be in trouble. I don't think she is someone we can mess with" Mia said, with a scared expression. She still remember her father's angry face. He has never been that angry before, even when his assistant betrayed him.
"Why should I? You're the one making her feel big and powerful when she's actually nothing"Ava said angrily.
She still doesn't understand why everyone fears and respect that girl who is only few years older than her.
