Chapter Two

Four for Dinner

Shortly after five o’clock, Sam, Cat, and Maddie heard someone pull up in front of the house. “That must be Caitlin,” Maddie said.

“Sam, we’ll handle this for a while. Why don’t you go take a shower or a soak and wash some of the lake effects off?” Cat suggested.

“Sounds good to me. I hate bathing alone, though,” he grinned at them. Cat gave him a friendly push toward the back of the house and he left the room, headed for the bathroom.

Maddie and Cat rode the elevator down to meet Caitlin and got to her truck just as she was getting out of it. They rushed around to where she was and gave her a big hug. “We are so glad you came, Caitlin,” Maddie said to her. “We are going to have such fun!”

Cat agreed. They took her inside and up to the second floor.

“Where is Sam,” Caitlin asked.

“He is taking a shower after our trip to the lake, and will be out soon. In the meantime, can I fix you something to drink?” Maddie asked her. “We are having martinis.”

“I don’t want to be any trouble,” Caitlin replied.

“It is no trouble at all.”

“I guess I’ll have what you are having, but I don’t drink alcohol very often.

“It’s okay. You are among friends here. We’ll have dinner later.”

Maddie made her a medium-dry martini on the rocks. “Olives?” she asked.

“Just one to nibble on, please.”

Maddie speared one with a toothpick and handed the drink to Caitlin. “Let’s sit here,” she said motioning to the couch. They got comfortable right away.

They talked, they laughed, and they sipped their drinks and had fun together. Caitlin began to relax and feel more comfortable with Cat and Maddie. They were beginning to like her a lot. She had matured beyond her years.

“Can I ask you two to explain something to me again?” Caitlin asked unexpectedly.

“Sure,” answered Cat this time. “What do you want to know?

“I am not sure I understand who loves whom in your threesome and who is in love with whom. Can you explain it one more time?” Their glasses were empty, so Maddie went to freshen their drinks while Cat tried to explain.

“This may sound unusual, but here it is. All three of us love each other deeply and will forever. It might have stopped there,” she took a sip of her new drink.

Maddie chimed in, “Cat and I have known each other for a long time as best friends, but never lovers. We love each other dearly.

Cat continued, “Then Sam came along. Maddie was interested in him first because I had just gotten out of a very unhealthy relationship, and was not ready for another man in my life. Quite by chance, Sam and I found ourselves at the same car show with our cars parked side by side. It was the luck of the draw. I fell for him and he fell for me.”

“When he had to go out of town for a week, Cat and I spent a lot of time together,” Maddie picked up the narrative. We had a few drinks at our favorite watering hole and I spent the night at her place. We fell in love and we want to be together for the rest of our lives.”

“Are you still in love with each other,” Caitlin asked.

“Yes, we are. That is why she gave me this ring,” said Maddie.

“You love each other and are in love with each other?” Caitlin asked.

“Yes,” they both said.

“Then where does Sam come in?” It was a great question.

Maddie answered, “I love Sam, but I am not in love with him. I want him in my life forever, but I am in love with Cat. Does this make any sense to you?”

“It is beginning to make some sense,” she replied.

It was Cat’s turn. “I knew I was in love with Sam the first night he visited me at my place. I came up here the next day, and I was sure,” she said. “When he left on his trip, I just about went crazy. If I hadn’t had Maddie, I don’t know what I would have done.”

They all needed a refill and were feeling the effect of the martinis. Maddie did the honors again.

“So, Cat, you are in love with both Sam and Maddie?”

“Yes. It’s not the same, but I am in love with them both.”

“Who is Sam in love with?” Caitlin asked the ultimate question.

Cat and Maddie looked at each other. Very carefully, Cat responded, “He is in love with me, Caitlin and I am in love with him. That is why I accepted his ring, although we three went through some drama when he asked me to marry him. It almost broke the three of us up. Thank the Lord, Maddie saved us, but that is a story for later.”

“I am not sure I should be here,” Caitlin said as she ducked her head. “It seems that you three have worked things out among you.”

“Nothing is further from the truth,” Maddie said, “and you should be here. Sam cares for you very much, and he realizes now that you are an adult and totally gorgeous. Soon, if Cat and I have anything to do with it, he will see you in a new way. Cat and I like you, too. In fact, there is nothing I would rather do right now than kiss you. Would you let me?”

“I would like that very much, Maddie,” and she moved closer.

Maddie took her in her arms and embraced her as she kissed her full on the lips tenderly and lovingly. Caitlin responded to her with an embrace of her own.

“That was very nice, Maddie. No one has kissed me in quite some time.

“May I kiss you too,” Cat asked.

Caitlin turned toward her and closed her eyes. Cat pressed her soft lips against Caitlin’s and parted her lips. Caitlin did the same. Their tongues entwined, and they kissed deeply and passionately, making Caitlin flush.

“You two are so hot,” Caitlin said. “I know why Sam loves you so much.”

Just then, he came back into the living room dressed in his terry robe and not much more. “It’s your turn now ladies. Let’s go get ready for dinner.” They got up off the sofa, acting tipsy, and headed to the bathroom.

The puzzled look on Sam’s face said so much. He wondered what had been going on in his absence, but knew that whatever it was, he was about to have dinner with three beautiful and happy girls.

They entered the bathroom and Cat closed and locked the door behind them. She didn’t want any interruptions. Maddie turned the shower on with all its jets until it began to steam. Caitlin started taking her clothes off, but Maddie stopped her. Not yet, my sweet. We always undress each other. Let’s take Cat’s clothes off first.

Cat stood in front of them and let them do as they wished. Maddie raised the t-shirt and pulled it off Cat, exposing her wonderful breasts which she took in her hands and began to caress.

“Unbutton her shorts and pull them down,” she instructed Caitlin. She did so. Her curiosity was getting the better of her. Maddie threw Cat’s top to one side and Caitlin pulled her shorts down and off. Cat stepped out of them and was naked before her lovely companions. Caitlin felt herself aroused at the sight of this beautiful woman in front of her.

“Now me,” Maddie urged her two companions and they redirected their efforts to her. She was soon in same state of undress as Cat. It’s your turn now, Caitlin. Maddie and Cat moved over to her and kissed her before they began undressing her. It only took a few minutes and they made sure to touch her in her most sensitive places, eliciting soft moans from her as they worked their magic. Caitlin didn’t know what they were doing to her and she didn’t care. It felt so good.

Cat and Maddie took her hands and walked her into the huge shower. The water flowed, and the shower steamed. They embraced her and kissed her. She kissed them back. Maddie took a wash cloth off the rack and put body wash on it. She began to wash Caitlin’s body, paying attention to her most sensitive areas. She and Cat washed every inch of Caitlin all the while kissing her and stimulating her breasts and the space between her legs. Caitlin was in heaven under their caresses. When they finished, she joined in washing them until they were all clean and refreshed. They rinsed off and stood there, holding each other for the longest time, with Caitlin between Cat and Maddie. The warm water felt good and the closeness felt better. Maddie and Cat knew they had found a soul mate.

They kissed and held each other close before they exited the shower and dried each other off. The hair dryers came out and they used them to their advantage. Maddie and Cat sat Caitlin down at the makeup mirror and brought out their palettes and brushes. They made themselves look gorgeous and did the same for Caitlin. They could have been models for any glamour magazine in existence. Cat and Maddie marveled at how their new friend looked. She was indeed a ten plus.

Her fresh look with makeup, even though it was very understated, amazed Caitlin. Her eyes were gorgeous with a little eye shadow and mascara. She couldn’t remember the last time she wore eye liner. They contoured her cheeks, and put just a hint of blush on her cheek bones. Cat and Maddie used liquid lip color on her lips and finished them with lip gloss. She didn’t recognize herself when they finished.

“Can you teach me how to do this, Maddie and Cat?” she asked.” “Sam is not going to recognize me. He has never seen me wearing makeup.”

“Sure, honey. We need to take you shopping to get the things you need. We will be glad to show you,” Maddie answered. “Once you get the basics down, you can develop your own look and style.”

“Sam is going to see a young woman in just a few minutes, not the girl he has known until now,” Cat added. “Caitlin clouded up. Don’t cry, Caitlin, we don’t want to lose that wonderful glow you have.”

Caitlin hugged them both. “What should I wear?”

Cat produced a matching set of bikini panties and bra. Caitlin never wore undergarments that highlighted her compact but stunning figure. The bra fit her perfectly even though it belonged to Cat. Maddie’s would be too large for her. She looked fantastic, and gave the girls a full three-sixty view.

“Perfect,” said Cat.

“I agree,” Maddie echoed.

Cat found a kimono and put it on Caitlin. “Sam is not going to believe his eyes when he sees you, but we don’t want to cause him to have a heart attack, now do we?” The kimono was perfect for Caitlin. Cat tied the sash with a bow, completing the look. Maddie brushed Caitlin’s long blonde hair until it was soft and flowing down her back. She stepped back to admire their work.

“You look fabulous, lover,” both girls agreed. “As soon as we put something on, we will go back to Sam and let him see you. He is going to fall in love with you immediately,” Cat added.

“He is in love with you, Cat. How do you feel about my being here?” Caitlin asked her.

“Honey, if there is one thing we have learned it is that a person can love more than one other at the same time,” she said. “I love both Maddie and Sam, and I suspect I will also fall in love with you. We certainly have had a great start, right Maddie?”

“I feel the same. We three women are going to have a wonderful relationship.”

Caitlin watched as Cat and Maddie dressed. She loved their bodies. As usual, Cat wore no bra, but she did put on panties under her white shorts. A plain, white shirt tied in front covered her breasts, and she slipped on a pair of sandals. Maddie wore much the same, but with her bra. They joined arm in arm with Caitlin between her new-found friends, and left the bedroom on their way back to Sam.

He was in the kitchen. The look on his face when he saw them was priceless. The three girls exchanged glances, and smiled broadly at each other. Caitlin was just slightly taller than Cat and Maddie and with them on each side of her, she was the focus of attention. Sam stopped what he was doing and just stared at them. He had never seen a more beautiful sight in his life. The girls approached him still arm in arm.

“Sam, I want you to meet Caitlin. She says she knows you,” Cat broke the ice.

“I used to know a girl named Caitlin, but certainly this beautiful woman can’t possibly be the same person,” he exclaimed, putting out his hand to her. “Hello, Caitlin.”

She didn’t take his hand. She put her arms around his neck and pulled herself up to him. Her kiss took him by surprise for a moment, but when she didn’t let go, he responded to her with his own embrace. She kissed him as a woman, not a young girl, kisses a man. Their kiss was intimate and lasted long. Maddie and Cat put their arms around each other, delighted with them both and what they had done to get them together. Caitlin broke the kiss when she was sure Sam knew her feelings about him, and she pulled back some.

“I have dreamed about that kiss for a long time, Sam. Thanks to Cat and Maddie, my wonderful new friends, it happened. I love you, Sam, as a woman loves a man.”

Sam said nothing. He pulled her to him and kissed her again. Her eyes closed, and she melted in his arms. Cat and Maddie began to kiss them both. Maddie moved close to Caitlin and invited her lips to hers while Cat began to kiss Sam. They switched, Maddie kissing Sam and Cat kissing Caitlin. The two girls began to focus on Caitlin, kissing her deeply and passionately. They embraced her as they began to make love to her, their hands roaming all over her body. Caitlin was in heaven again.

Sam pulled back from the three girls. “I am not sure I can handle all this,” he said. “My two lovers making love to my wonderful, new Caitlin. I have loved you for years, but as a daughter, not a lover. Now here you are, unbelievably gorgeous, a full-grown woman, and you have joined our family in a most important way. Welcome to our world, Caitlin.

“Yes, welcome,” agreed Maddie.

“We are so glad we could help your dream come true. Welcome to the family, lover,” added Cat. Is anyone hungry? What are you making, Sam?”

“This is a special dinner. Caitlin is here with us and I want to celebrate. Let’s open a bottle of wine,” he directed. “Tonight, we are going to have shrimp alfredo with a salad and gelato for dessert. We will grill the shrimp and make the alfredo from scratch. Add a slice of Texas toast, and a salad will finish it off. How does that sound to you, Caitlin?”

“It sounds wonderful, Sam. If I were at home I would heat up some vegetable beef soup and eat alone, now that Granny is not there anymore. If you feed me things like what you are planning, I will never leave here.”

“I think the Lenox china and the silverware are called for this evening. They are in the hutch over there,” he pointed to it. Cat and Maddie retrieved the dinnerware along with a linen table cloth, and began to set the table. Sam made the alfredo using butter, flour, heavy cream, and a mixture of spices known only to him. It smelled wonderful and was very thick. He put it aside and turned to the shrimp, which were marinating in the fridge.

“Caitlin, time for you to get involved. The salad makings are in the crisper and a recipe for a balsamic dressing is in this drawer. Your job is the salad. Okay?” he delegated the task to her.

“Thank you, Sam. I do so want to be involved.” She walked over to him and gave him a kiss before she began preparing the salad. Sam, Maddie, and Cat smiled at each other when they saw the happiness on Caitlin’s face. She was even more beautiful now that the uncertainty had diminished. They all saw the glow on her face, and went back to their dinner tasks.

The shrimp was delicious, and the salad really hit the spot. The four ate, laughed, and drank wine very happily together. It was more than an hour later when they finally pushed back from the table and moved to the living room couch.

“Where should I sit,” Caitlin asked.

“Where would you like to sit,” Sam asked.

“By you,” she answered.

“Then come here, lady Caitlin,” he indicated a place on the couch beside him. She sat where he had indicated, with Maddie beside her and Cat on Sam’s other side. Maddie held Caitlin’s hand in hers and Cat had a hand on Sam’s thigh. He and Caitlin couldn’t take their eyes off each other.

He said to Caitlin, “You are truly beautiful, love. I had no idea. Maybe I just couldn’t see what was right before my eyes.”

“You have never seen me like this before, and never thought of me either as a woman or a lover. I want that to change.”

“Thanks to Cat and Maddie, that has changed, Caitlin. Tonight, I see you entirely differently.” He kissed her. Cat and Maddie smiled at each other.

Maddie interjected, “Time to freshen up, you two. Will you excuse us, Sam?”

“Sure thing,” he replied. “Just don’t leave me alone for long.”

“Come on, girls,” she invited them. They all went back to the master suite.
