The Third Ring
Early in the afternoon, as Cat and Sam had expected, Maddie drove up in her Camaro. She checked to make sure the security system wouldn’t go off and rushed to the elevator and upstairs. Her two lovers had eaten a light lunch, and gone back to bed. She found them there and jumped into bed with them without hesitating.
“Ok, you two, what is this all about?” she asked.
Sam replied, “The two of us just wanted to make sure you didn’t have to worry about finances, so we got together and padded your bank account a little. You now have a nest egg to fall back on if needed.”
“But a million? That is more than I ever imagined,” Maddie was astonished.
