Reacquainted!
Sam called them all together over drinks Friday evening. “Do we need to discuss where we go from here?” he asked. “Our lives have been interrupted, but we are all together again.”
Cat was the first to respond. “I know that Maddie and I have been spending most of our time together since we found her and got her back. If I have neglected you, Sam and you, Caitlin, I apologize.”
“You have been there for me, Cat, and I appreciate what you have done. I still need you, but I need Sam and Caitlin, too,” Maddie explained.
