If I'd ever thought about one thing clearly, it was that I never wanted to be anywhere near Adriana. She wasn't supposed to cross my path ever, let alone be a part of my life. Since the beginning of all this, all I had wanted was to get the money back that belonged to me from her parents. Plain and simple. I hadn't wanted complications, didn't care about their issues, and certainly never meant for it to get personal.
