Adriana's POV
I paced around the room in anticipation for what was to come. I knew the moment that Xavier would be back in the mansion there was a guarantee that all hell would break loose. I needed to make sure that I'm ready for him and for whatever he'd have to say.
This was a literal matter of life and death. If I didn't know what to say to him and how to say it, I was sure he'd kill me and and get rid of me without a hesitation. Atleast my shaking hands had relaxed. The only thing that I needed to get under control was my breathing.
