“WAKE UP.” “We have a lot to get done before tonight.” My mother loudly shouted from the kitchen where it smelled like a feast down there.

Tonight is my Alpha ceremony and my mother wants everything to be perfect.

I head to the shower getting ready for the day and ready to be the next alpha of the river moon packed. The largest pack in North America. We hold over 10,000 werewolves, witches, lycans and so many other beautiful creatures.

After showering I go to my closet for a pair of boxers, Some grey sweatpants, a white tank top and black Nike socks.

I change and go out to the field and spare with my soon to be second in command Shawn.

After about 2 hours we headed inside to shower again because we were dirty and sweaty

I finish and head to the kitchen. At the table there’s eggs, bacon, grits, sausage, pancakes, croissant, breakfast sandwich’s, and cereal.

I get some of everything and sit down and start eat. Sitting at the table with me is my mother and father Hope and Jordan. Alongside them sit all my siblings the twins Jaden the oldest by two minutes and Jason. Then there’s Blu she’s 20 and just got back from her two year sentence from the council for selling drugs but claim she wasn’t using them. The drug test came back negative so I guess she wasn’t lying. She hasn’t said nothing to no one since she got back.

More omega feel the table talking loudly about the alpha ceremony and the after party.

“ Hey Blu how’s the food.” I say trying to get her to talk. But still she says nothing

I don’t know why you even try she won’t even laugh no more.” Said Jason.

Everyone looks so doleful with out Blu exciting and energetic personality. Ever since she left two years ago it was never the same with out her. This was so hard on my mother, her only daughter and youngest went to prison and no one could protect or save her in there.

“Alright everyone lets get ready for tonight.” My mother said trying to lighten the mood. I doubt Blu coming to the after party and she probably don’t wanna go the the ceremony either but she knows it’s mandatory for her and not only her but every on that in the pack to be there as well. I just hope everything goes well.
