Chapter 12: The Blacksmith

Xaiver POV:

Well, we are getting ready to pull up to this blacksmith's shack that Tyra showed us earlier. I am starting to get excited. And I have high hopes for this place. Tyra is extremely hard to impress when it comes to training places and areas. So, if the excitement that I can feel coming of her in waves the closer we got the little shack we pointed out earlier. "Well, we are here. So, how will you know if this Joe is here or not?" I ask Tyra as she starts fidgeting to get out of the back of the truck. She says " well, most times I just walk up and knock on the door like any other normal person would and if he doesn't answer then I'll just call him and see if he is in the practice area testing out some of his new products and can't hear us knocking."

" Well, let's do this and I can't wait to meet this guy. " say's Javier. We all climb out of the truck and start heading towards the front door of the little shack. Tyra walks up to the door and decides to pound on the door as loud as she possibly could. I swear I saw the whole shack shake and tremble just from the force of her pounding on the door. Next, thing we know the door swings open and a big burley red curly haired man with a beard that is also brownish with a red tint that hangs messily out all over the place to his collar bone. When, he see's that it is Tyra he face practically breaks in two with the biggest smile I have ever seen on a man like him with gleaming, blindingly white teeth that were a extremely stark contrast with his beard and hair. It was a very shocking and amusing sight to see. To say the least. "Well, if it isn't my favorite girl and customer. I assume she came to check on your order or are you here to practice today?" joe inquires with a strange look on his face when he finally visually registers that we are standing there behind Tyra. "Well, I see that you have brought some new visitors/ with you. Is this a business or pleasure visit?" he asks. Tyra looks at him smiles and pats his arm saying " It is actually both. I wanted to check on my order and see if it is ready. But I also wanted to show my brother and best friend around the back area. But my best friend also wants to check out some of your and maybe placing a couple of orders of his own if you would be willing to cooperate with him on his requirements and specifications. So, what do you think? Can we come in and explore for a while and maybe play around. If the boys are up for a impromptu session if they find the facilities accommodating enough to the taste and liking. Because you know they are kind of really spoiled in that area thanks to where they usual train."

" Hey, that's not right we are standing right here and that's not fair or even right to say!" I exclaim loudly which causes everyone to laugh. " Tyra looks at Joe and says "Joe, the very noisy loud one is my brother Xavier that I have told you about and the taller almost stoic one standing there next to him is Javier. Who I have also told you about as well. Xavier and Javier this is Joe the amazing blacksmith I told you about." " Hi, I guess you guys can come in and check my operation out but please do keep your opinions to yourself. Primarily because I really don't care and it really doesn't matter because I'm assuming you guys won't be staying long." Joe says. "Javier chuckles and says "Don't worry we can't afford to be judgmental of anyone unless we want to judge ourselves. Besides if we even thought about trying it Tyra would make sure she set us straight in a instant and that wouldn't be pretty."

So, Joe just chuckles and nods his head and decides to step back, lefts his left arm up and makes a gesture like after you.

Well here we go as we finally get an invite inside the dimly lit room behind him. Tyra leads the way in to the room practically bouncing on both feet in the room. I decide to follow her and I have to say I'm highly impressed with the forge set up that he has in here but I think it was more impressive that he had multiple fire pits set up in different sizes. Plus, different shaped and sized Quenching stations for multiple different types of weapons that he clearly produces here. Plus, he has an extremely impressive display of swords, daggers, spears, throwing stars, and plenty more other interesting looking weapons that I'm quite interested in getting to know a little better. As I'm busy gapping in awe at the room Tyra is just laughing her butt off and is almost doubled over in two while doing so. Tyra looks at us and say's " Yes, this is amazing but follow me and I will show the really impressive part of this place." As she walks away towards the back of the building and opens a sliding door that you can barely tell it is there because it literally looks like part of the wall of the back of the building.

I don't know what I was expecting to see when we followed Tyra in But I was not expecting to see a fully load training room complete with gym equipment, fully padded training pads in another section laid out for sparing, in another section there is literally a full practice shooting range, also right beside it is punching bags hanging for boxing , on the opposite side of all this is a arrow target range , and right next to that is a dagger and star throwing practice range. It was absolutely unbelievably amazing, and I could just live here. I don't know who was more excited and enthralled Javier or myself. But, it is safe to say that we both were definitely in awe of the entire area. "This is f*****g amazing! I just don't have any words." I say. I'm almost at a point of fangirling over this place and that is just straight up embarrassing to admit that. I can't believe that this place was hidden behind that. I never would have thought it was here.
