Elizabeth POV

My daughter looks absolutely beautiful in that dress. I know she is considered plain in the werewolf world but by human standards she is a ten. I wish we did not put so much into looks. I try to focus on that and not what is going to happen tonight. If she is indeed correct Collin Daniels is her mate and will have to acknowledge her tonight breaking the curse. I hate this. I want to run and never look back. I know he has hurt her. I know all the kids have and I know someone hurt her far worse then the others. I don’t know who hurt my baby but I just may kill someone tonight.

Jim POV

Well tonight Millie is shining. Tonight that bastard better not hurt my daughter or else heads are going to fly. I am secretly armed and ready. She may not have been mine by birth but she is my little girl.

Luna Casie POV

If that girl is his mate it may actually turn out for the best. She wouldn’t tell on her mate. The instant love would shut her up. Not that she can talk. I mean honestly maybe the moon goddess knew what she was doing. Collin can use a mate that won’t talk back. That can’t question him.

Alpha Leon POV

He better reject her if she is his mate. If he wants the alpha title that is. Little girl better stay silent. I mean not like she has a choice but still.

Grey POV

My girl looks absolutely stunning tonight. I can feel the power rolling off her and I am so proud of how strong she is. I can’t wait till she finds out the truth. I just hope this isn’t too hard on her. I mask my scent till the time is right.

Millie POV

Millie: Star are you ready for this?

Star: I was born ready.

Alpha Leon:

Welcome everyone to my son’s Alpha mate ceremony. Please have a seat and enjoy the meal.

The pack sits down. Families gathered in groups with all the unmated females families at the center table. A meal fit for a king is served.

Luna Casie:

Elizabeth why don’t you and your family sit beside us.

Alpha Leon thinks to himself: What is she doing, they should sit as far away as possible.

Elizabeth:

How kind thank you. She tries hard to hold the sarcasm out of her voice.

Millie ignores them all and smiles at Grey. The worry clear in her eyes.

Grey takes her hand. He knows she is worried about hurting him. He mind links her.

Grey: Millie no matter what happens tonight I am here for you always.

Millie: Promise. What if the Alpha is my mate?

Grey: Especially if the Alpha is your mate. No matter what. He takes her hand and holds it.

Collin thinks:

Why did mom have her sit near us? She seems better. I am so glad she didn’t die. Oh maybe that omega is her mate. Blaze. Blaze why are you so angry. Come on we are meeting our mate in a few hours.

Blaze paces and hides in the back of Collin’s mind.

Collin: Blaze I need you.

Blaze: I am here, but if you hurt me tonight I will not be.

Collin a nagging feeling starts.

A group of girls sing and dance for entertainment of the group as the time passes on.

Alpha Leon: Well ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for coming. Would all the unmated females and their families head to the gathering hall. The rest of you are dismissed.

Millie stands and looks in Grey’s eyes.

Grey: Don’t say anything Mina. I will be right here.

He heads outside.

Millie: Star what did he call me?

Star: Hurry hurry follow the group.

Elizabeth stands with her daughter her nerves on edge.

Millie smiles gracefully and the clock hits midnight making the Alpha and herself officially 18. Everyone claps.

Alpha Leon: So Collin is your mate in this room.

Collin smiles from ear to ear.

Collin: Yes she is father. She smells like strawberries and cream!

Several girls giggle.

Alpha Leon: Well don’t just stand there find her.

Collin makes his way to the front if the line. He stops and looks in the eyes of the first girl. She smiles and then frowns. He moves from girl to girl and the room is quietly watching till his next person is Millie.

Millie: This is it Star.

Collin: This can’t be right. The moon goddess would not do this to me. Blaze.

Blaze says nothing as Collin steps in front of Millie. He breaths in deeply as her scent over takes him he looks in her eyes and knows. For a moment their eyes lock and no one else exists but then he steps to the next girl. A gasp is heard. Millie grabs his arm.

Collins POV

No, no I will just reject her after. Just pick someone else like nothing happened.

Millie POV

I will not let him do this. I grab his arm and sparks fly. It is like a pleasure I have never known before. I see Alpha Leon step towards me but then Collin moans. Everyone in the room freezes.

Collin his face turns beet red and he speaks: Millie release me. I... I don’t want to do this now. I refuse to let go my eyes go stubborn and drill into his. He sighs.

Collin: I, Collin Daniels

Luna Casie: No son!

Collin: Reject Millie Jones

Alpha Leon: nods

Collin: As my

Elizabeth: Millie

Collin: Mate.

And electric pulse throws Collin away from Millie as the powerful magic spins around her. Her brown hair turns to it’s fire red and her grey eyes turn green with flicks of gold. Her body changes and turns into her true form. She laughs, takes a deep breath and looks at the room.

Millie: Finally the curse is broken.... My name is Mina Darkmoon and I am the new Alpha of the Full Moon pack. So kneel before your Queen!
