Two males and one female huddle together in the last cell. They look like they have not been fed in weeks. I speak with my Alpha tone.
Collin: Tell me why you are here.
The male standing off to the side meets my eyes hesitating.
“We fled our pack hoping to find a fair place to call home. Our previous Alpha is abusive and corrupt. I am Jared and this is Jade and Seth. They are mates not that Alpha Harsh cared.
