Damn them. I thought I could keep her safe here. Bad enough they hurt her, break her bones and a***e her but this! I am so very angry.

Elizabeth:

Jim this is the last straw. If the Alpha does nothing this time I will go to the council myself.

I had been begging the Alpha for years to stop this a***e on my only child to hear him say over and over this is normal kids. Bull s**t! I am so done with this. If I didn’t need to hide here till the curse is broken I would have taken my mate and child and left long ago. I don’t have to listen to the alpha command as am an alpha myself. Anger makes my wolf Sarmine try to come out.

Jim:

Elizabeth breath. Remember you are a healer and your daughter needs you now. Calm yourself Sarmine your time will come.

My usually docile and calm mate fumes with anger and rightly so. My heart hurts for my mate and my child. Soon she will be free from all of this. I know I wasn’t the once who made Millie but I have been there since her birth. My first mate and child died in childbirth and I wanted to join them. However the moon goddess had other plans for me. I was blessed with a beautiful second chance mate and my daughter. Sweet Millie she didn’t deserve any if this. My thoughts are broken by a word in my mind link.

Millie POV

Mom.. Da. I speak into our closed mind link. Most wolves can mind link within the pack. Many assume I can’t but truth is I hear everything they say but right now I have everyone closed off except the three important people in my life.

Elizabeth:

Baby who did this to you.

Jim:

Are you ok sweetheart? Are you in pain?

Millie:

I will be ok. Don’t worry mom I will get my revenge soon.

Jim:

Millie!

Elizabeth:

No Jim do not correct her. She deserves to be upset. Millie are you hurting?

Millie:

Yes but mom... I saw her.

Elizabeth:

Who dear?

Millie:

The moon goddess. She asked me if I wanted to stay but I told her no. She said I must choose which path I will take. Darkness or light.

Jim looks at my mother worried.

Jim:

What did you choose Millie?

Millie:

I have not yet.....I am tired.

Elizabeth:

Millie before you rest tell me who did it.

Millie: My mate... her voice trails off as she falls back asleep.

Jim:

She said her mate?! Elizabeth how is it possible. She is not even 18 yet. How can she know her mate?

Elizabeth:

We usually know our mates early as pure alpha’s. That means her mate is here. She sighs and lays in her arms. Her mate tried to kill her Jim. The one person created to love her, protect her and be her eternal love tried to kill her. My poor child. The pain must be unbearable. I always hoped it would be Grey but he would never hurt her.

Jim:

Where is he?

Elizabeth:

I sent him home to eat and change. He asked if he could stay here tonight. I said yes.

Jim:

My wolf wants to come out and kill every unmated male in that damn school but I know that is not possible. How dare someone do this. A silver weapon. I breath deeply and take in my mate’s scent to calm myself down. I feel a presence come into the room. Before looking I know who is it and speak.

Jim:

Alpha. What will you do about this? Will you ignore our pleas for help again? Say it is just kids being kids? Does my daughter have to die ? My voice raises and my wolf comes to the front of my mind.
