My face pales. It is true she did die. Silver is f*******n. Fear again rises in me and I feel the need to vomit.

Mom gets the expression on her face when she is thinking. Her forehead crunches up.

Her words wash over me like calming waves. Her touch relaxes my wolf.

Casie:

My love is it unknown right now but let us see what the girl has to say when she wakes. Maybe the one who did this didn’t know.

That will not change the law Casie. The law states to harm someone with silver is severe. The criminal is to be imprisoned till they are judged by the royal court. They use death most times as a means to keep control.

Casie:

We don’t even know if it was one of our people that did this. Let’s wait and see.

I calm and lay in her arms. The stress of the day fades in her loving embrace.

Casie:

Nothing I couldn’t handle my Alpha now I think you need to relieve some stress.

Her voice changing to a seductive tease and my body instantly responds. My mate always knows what I need.

Collin POV

I lay in my room and let tears fall from my eyes.

Blaze, talk to me please.

I feel relieved.

Collin:

How do you know?

Blaze doesn’t respond and I feel so alone. My only hope is my mate will make me a better person. I don’t like this person I have become. I disappointed my mom. I hurt and innocent girl.
