MinaPOV

Mina: What Collin don’t you know this pack is perfect except for me?

I speak with a sarcastic tone looking at him as he bows his head. I turn and face the pack. Through the link everyone can see and hear even if they are not in the room.

Mina: Everyone look at these people. Our people! Look at the whip marks and bruises on their bodies. Look how these members of our pack have been treated. You say because they are weak? They are weak because you broke them.

The omegas stand still in front of the pack. Bruises, burns and scars cover their bodies. Not one is without a mark. A few shed silent tears at feeling humiliated but at the same time a sense of relief fills them.

Collin POV

I watch as she turns her back to me and looks at the omegas. Her voice soft and kind like a mother when she speaks to them. She is a true nature born Luna.

Mina: Please get dressed. Thank you for allowing them to see the truth.

She waits till they are dressed to speak again. I notice her beautiful green eyes and the constant flicker of gold in them. Her wolf is upset. I am upset. How could all this happen right in front of me? Why didn’t I see it? Am I so immune to the suffering of my own pack. Blaze feels of shame also as he whimpers in my mind. Mina starts speaking again and with each statement my heart breaks a little more.

Mina: Omegas raise your hand if you are allowed to eat more then one meal a day normally.

Very few pack members in the omega group raise their hands.

Mina: But the rest of you are never hungry. These omegas grow the food. They work in the gardens. They run the business to fund the pack. These omegas cook and prepare all the food to keep you full but they aren’t allowed to eat!

Her eyes look out at the pack and through the link. A sense of shame among the pack grows and a silence comes over us all as she continues.

Mina: Are you ever hungry? They are. Every single day. No wonder they are weak. Wolves need more then what they are allowed or given time for. Omegas rasie your hand if anyone hit you today for no reason.

Almost every single one raises their hands. Some keep their heads high still holding an emotionless look. Even adults I have know for years and thought were happy were suffering.

Mina: This is disgusting. What kind of pack is this. Packs are families to support and help each other. Shame. That is all I can say but there is one more crime these members of our pack have to face. They are beat, starved and.

She pauses again as the entire pack is dead silent. What could possibly be worse then beaten and starved? I can feel the absolute horror in Blaze but I don’t know why.

Mina: How many of you have been r***d by a fellow pack member?

Out of the 200 omegas, 173 raise their hand.

Collin POV

No no this can’t be right. How can this be right and no one has done anything. Blaze rages in my mind wanting to kill someone for hurting my pack. Then she turns to me. My heart stops. Her face flat of emotion and I know what she is about to do and I beg it’s not true as I see my mate raise her hand my heart crumbles and I fall to my knees.

Grey POV:

I look around the room at everyone. There is almost complete silence. Only a few people weeping is heard. I notice Mina’s strong resolve faulter just a tiny bit and her bottom lip quivers. I can’t keep quiet so I step forward putting my hand on her arm I offer her strength.

Grey: Our new Queen, our children, our sisters and our brothers have been treated so horrible. They have suffered at the hands of pack members but listen family. This is not the end. This is the beginning of a stronger better pack.

Mina takes a deep breath and puts her strong face on again. Her voice full of an authority none of us can question. The power rolls off of her in waves.

Mina: Full Moon pack is going to change. As of now the rank structure will be Grey as my second in command and all other positions will stay the same for the time being. Right in the middle of speaking the scum interrupted her. You would think he was dropped as a child.

Eric: Excuse me!

He actually had the audacity to sound offended. I almost laughed at him. Goddess I wish Mina would let me rip his throat out.

Eric. I am the one set to be Beta.

Mina POV:

How could I have forgotten that small detail of tonight. The absolute arrogance of him. I turn and glare as all my power flows into the one that hurt me. He screams in pain. Between clenched teeth I speak.

Mina: Guards arrest Eric and put him in the dungeon in chains.

Guards: Yes your majesty.

Eric: You can’t do this!

Mina: I want it also know that those pack members who committed crimes against fellow pack members will he punished accordingly. As for the rest of you tomorrow there will be meetings with each head of departments. There is a lot for each member to consider. As I said before no one will come or go during this time. Patrols have been doubled and our witch allies have us in lock down. This has been a long day so for now have a good evening. Dismissed.

Mina POV

I watch as my people file out. Many come and congratulate me or thank me. Some even come and apologize. I can hear the occasional complaints and harsh comments but those will be addressed later. Finally the Alpha and Luna come before me.

Mina: Yes former Alpha Leon?

Leon: I am sorry. I honestly did not know so many people where suffering under my care.

His mate places her hand on his arm to calm him. In his eyes I can see the sincerity of his apology and the pain for our people. Finally he looks at me.

Leon: And for my threat to you.

He keeps his voice quiet between the two of us but I don’t mind.

Mina: It must be hard for an alpha to say that.

Leon: His face stern. It is.

Mina: I imagine if I had a child I might do the same to protect them. My mother did what was needed to protect me and you did also. If you pledge your loyalty to me I will allow you a place that is respected in this pack for you as well as the former Luna. I watch as hope and doubt fight for dominance across the man’s face. I can tell he is unsure if this is a trick.

Leon: And what place would that be?

Mina: A place on the royal advisory committee. I am young and will need experienced guidance.

Leon looks at her shocked and bows. A look of relief and gratitude covers him. You have my loyalty.

Casie: What about our son Mina? Please he is our only child. Please let me go to him? Don’t hurt him Mina.

I look at the Luna and see only a mother who wants to save their child. I speak louder so Collin can hear her.

Mina: My ex mate will not be harmed.

Collin drops his head on his bent knees as he hears my words.

Mina: Go home all of you. Tomorrow will begin early.

Casie takes one last look at Collin and obeys. She bows and heads out.
