Stella Lockheed I took a deep breath, trying to shake off the fluttery mess of nerves that seemed to have taken residence in my stomach. Lucas stood there, looking like a deer caught in headlights, and if it wasn't such a serious moment, I might've cracked a joke or two. But no, the Headmistress had to turn this into a public display of magical kissing. "Come on, Luc, let's get this over with," I said, trying to sound nonchalant.
