Chapter three

*DAISYS POV*

It was a normal day working, I did not have any parents and was one of the pack orphans and like every pack orphan I was given a job to do and a place to stay and food. I got my basic needs and in return I would clean or do whatever the Luna and Alpha expected of me. I just kept my head down and tried not to make anyone mad. However this technique did not work, no one liked me, I was orphan who could not shift and the pack saw me as a liability to them.

It was normal day, I was assigned to a cleaning job and I did as I was told. Ellie was being her usual b***h of a self. Shouting and going on telling me how useless I am, I have come to ignore the comments though. I mean what makes her better than me ? The fact that she is head servant, still a servant Ellie! I just ignored her insults throughout the day I was cleaning the kitchen after lunch when I slept the most amazing smell, it was a strong smell of cologne that smelt like forestry and whiskey. I looked around but did not see anyone around I quickly taken away from my search when Ellie started shouting at me, “Why are you not working Daisy! You have one job! Not like you can do much else! You pretty much useless!” I just kept my head down and went back to cleaning however she did not like the fact that I was ignoring her “Alpha and Luna should of just dropped you off in a human village. Your parents did not want you, your wolf does not want you, so what, we have to be stuck with you!” I was seething, “You know what Ellie, I think you should remember head servant who gives higher ranking wolves a good time in hopes of getting somewhere does not give you the right to speak for the Alpha and Luna also I have a wolf and my parents died! You asshole!” I did not have time to react as her hand came so fast I just felt the warm sting on my cheek, I sob quietly as the the slap was a shock and painful “Stop slacking or I’ll do a lot worse”.

That is when someone came in and the scent from before was exceptionally strong. I did not look up. They ordered Ellie to make a sandwich and she passed the job to me but the person made it very clear they want her to make it. She went off to make it as quick as can be and the person ate the sandwich and then told me to follow her I just stood there frozen, she repeated herself in Alpha tone. I started to sob, “Please do not hurt me.” She seemed to shocked and as she stayed on one spot for awhile then her shock slowly turned into irritation. She let out a long sigh. She came forward towards me and lifted my head using my chin, “I will not ask again little girl.” She said it in such a calm manner that I was genuinely terrified.
