Chapter two

*Dylan’s POV*

After Ellie had left, I decided to take a walk and have a look around. I headed downstairs and as I got to the ground floor I went to the kitchen feeling a bit peckish. I was close to the kitchen when I smelt it, a mixture of vanilla and berries, my wolf was getting restless. When I got to the kitchen I saw the most beautiful girl cleaning up the kitchen, she was short and slim almond colour skin and dark hair with the most beautiful brown eyes, she did not look like she was treated very well it irked me.

My wolf said the words so loud in my head I felt dizzy, “MATE” she must have smelt me too because she stopped what she was doing and turned around but I pushed myself around the wall so she did not see me. I was not ready for this, I was not sure if I wanted this, yet here it was ready or not everyone know you could not resist the mate bond. I was so lost in my own thoughts I had not heard the commotion until towards the end and then I heard a hard what I would assume painful slap and then heard the most angelic voice sob. I turned back to the kitchen and saw Ellie over my mate, “Stop slacking and get to work before I do worse Daisy!” She shrieked in an hideous high pitched voice nothing like the voice she used earlier talking to me. I walked into the kitchen calm and collect and looked at Ellie, “I would like a sandwich.” I know it came off cold and filled with anger. She looked at Daisy, “You heard the Alpha she would like a sandwich.” I growled at Ellie, my Alpha pushing to come forward I had to control her, a little too loud causing her to jump on the spot and look at me with terror all over her face, “I told you, I want a sandwich not Daisy.” Ellie was shaking at this point, I know my aura was emitting a lot of powerful anger. “Yes right away Alpha.” She hastily made my sandwich and put it at the table. I looked over at Daisy, she was not looking at me she was looking at floor, “What could be so damn interesting about a floor.” I heard my wolf Danny say in frustration. She was shaking, “Is she scared?” I asked Danny. “Her wolf will not let me in, they will not let me communicate with them.” Danny responded. I ate the sandwich which did not taste great by the way and walked up to Daisy, “Follow me.” She stood frozen to the spot, I was getting impatient, “I said follow me!” I didn’t mean to by I used my Alpha tone on her. She started quietly sobbing, “Please do not hurt me.” I was shocked and surprisingly hurt, I have no intention of hurting her. Myself and Danny were also getting slightly impatient, I knew Danny needed her and so would I. Therefore I needed to figure this out.
