We ran behind the vampires at full speed and to my surprise, my speed almost matched that of Aiden. I was always a fast runner, especially considering I was not a wolf, but now I know it was because of my parentage. I am the daughter of an Alpha, after all. Even so, my speed was no match for Aiden when I was in the pack, and now that I was running almost shoulder to shoulder with him, I realised that my training had developed more than my magical powers.
I felt my brow raise when I found Lucas keeping up with us. Normally, wizards lacked stamina compared to wolves since they specialized in spells and magic, but it didn’t appear as the case with Lucas.
