Aiden’s POV Once I opened my eyes, I found that I was no longer standing in the forest. Instead, I was standing inside what seemed like a castle. And just as the Guardian said, there were two huge golden doors in front of me. But that was not what troubled me.  The problem was this that everything seemed muted. It was as if there was a thick film in my eyes and my vision seemed muddled. I couldn’t see the finer details of things like I usually did, and I felt blind even though I wasn’t. Same with my hearing. Everything was feeling like just a buzz now. Not to start with my sense of smell.
