*Two weeks later*
The night I destroyed Afthartos, we searched the entire premises for the missing King but we didn’t find any clue to his whereabouts. I had known that it was a possibility that the energy when Afthartos rises again would wake the King from his slumber, but I had hoped I could be quick and destroy the weapon before he could rise. Sadly, it didn’t seem to work.
Fred was optimistic that one of the Dark mages who escaped that night has stolen the body, but I knew it in my heart that the Dragon King had woken up.
