Synthia's POV
I watched with awe as the trees nearby swayed with the wind. I gazed around as birds flew close to me, and it felt as if I could just reach out and pluck one from the sky mid-flight if I wanted to.
Even though I was floating several feet high off the ground, I felt no fear. Instead, I felt calm and peaceful, without the pressures of a broken heart, or prophesies and destinies.
Even though I had been to the top of the Empire State Building and the Top of the Rock, this was a different experience. From there, it was watching the entire city and the skyscrapers that made the experience. But now, it was the liberating feel of floating in the air and the feeling of being one with the nature that was special.
