Chapter 17: Starry Beast

Tiara is so confused why she followed the soldiers who went out to fight the starry beast. She is not a person who likes to join the fun. On the contrary, she likes a peaceful environment, it's just that there's a nagging voice on her head that seems to say that she should go, so here she is, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible. She will just look, nothing else.

She scanned around the area but she still couldn't find the star beast that made these groups of soldiers alert.

She planned to go back in the base, halfway through, she saw a white small fluff laying on the road and as fluff control person, she couldn't resist kneeling to check what it was.

The fluffy ball is as big as a soccer ball, with two protruding fluffs, she can't see the facial feature, it seems like it was all covered with fur. Tiara had read a lot of books in interstellar but she wasn't able to encounter anything about this kind of fluffy animal. What's more intriguing is that there seems to be small electric things coming out of its body from time to time.

Tiara wanted to bring the fluffy ball with her because she feels that this ball is injured based on the dirt on its body. Tiara carried the ball on her arms and prepared to go back when suddenly, the small electricity around the body of the fluff ball started to become bigger, Tiara became afraid but because the electricity didn't hurt her, she didn't put down the fluff ball.

She heard a lot of people running towards her direction, just now she realized that she is covered with electricity, and before she knew it, she felt a strong wave trying to suck her, she unconsciously held the fluff ball to comfort herself as she can't find the strength to go against the wave.

"A girl was taken by a starry beast"

This was the news sent inside the conference room of planet XA0098 which disrupted the current meeting and planning of the people inside.

"Girl?" General Mayers asked, he is the general stationed on this planet and is also the acting governor. He knew that all the people here right now are soldiers, so how come the report said it was a girl rather than a soldier. Gender is not important in the army, so stating this kind of report seems inappropriate.

"Yes general, it was a girl that is not included in our troop"

The marshal and the vice captain turned pale after hearing the report "Is it the girl that I brought together with me?"

"Answering the vice captain Flecker, according to our investigations she was indeed the girl you brought"

Ayessa almost fell down after hearing this. She just left her daughter for a while and she already lost her!

"Send all the relevant materials regarding her disappearance right now!" the marshal instructed, then he called the troops that are still in his warship to check all corners of the planet to find his daughter. He also tried locating his daughter through the starry net but it was futile. He could just hope that like her previous disappearance, she can come back to them safely.

While the soldiers in the planet XA0098 are in chaos, Tiara already became accustomed with the sucking wave, she wanted to go inside her space but reasons told her she cannot do that at this moment, anyway she even fell asleep because it feels like she's being rocked in a swing. She just woke up when she fell on the ground.

She's still hugging the fluff ball right now so she checked if it became more injured. She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that there is no more scattered electricity around it but it is still not moving.

Tiara looked around the place where she is now and she confirmed that she traveled on a different place because the trees around here is different from the trees on the previous planet. She made a rough scan about the ecosystem of planets XA0098 and she's sure that the trees there will not grow as giant as the trees here. She also realized that she's not on the ground, rather, she's on a very huge branch.

She went on the edge of the branch and calculated that there's at least a kilometer before she can set foot on the ground.

She wonder where she really is right now, wait, she almost forgot that she still has a lightbrain! She immediately opened it and called her dad, she even used her lightning ability to make sure that the signal could reach her parents. Her wishes were granted as not long after her call, her dad answered

"Daughter, where are you now? Are you ok?" Gerard's eyes were full of worries when he saw his only daughter's face on the screen

"Dad, I'm ok, I just don't know where I am right now. But I'm sure I'm no longer on planet XA0098"

Gerard became more distressed as his daughter confirmed his wild guess. According to the report, the starry beast that took Tiara is still an infant space type beast. Space type is the category they give to any beings that have both lightning and psychic powers. Which means they can distort the space and do a space jump. The scary thing about the space beast that took his daughter is not its ability but its age! If it is an infant and it can already send itself and another person to a different space, how powerful can it be in the future? His daughter is a 3S mental power user, which means that it will be harder for any space type user to bring her anywhere at will, but that thing brought her to another space!

"Don't worry daughter, I'm already done locating you, we will go there in a while"

"Dad, finish your job there first. Once you're done, pick me up. I want to train here" Tiara smiled sweetly at her dad, she knew that the development of the planet where her dad is very important. Only 1 out of every 20 planets in the galaxy can be used for agriculture, the rest is either for minerals or aquatic products so, she can't let her dad pick her up right now. She knew that she made a ruckus on that planet already, she can't add another one.

"But your mom and I are already worried about you. You've been missing for two days already."

"Dad, just tell mom that I want to play here first, and also I want to find a gift for her, ok dad?"

"This..."

"And I also want to see if I can find an ingredient here to brew some wine for you."

"Ok my dear daughter, take care of yourself. If you find that that place is dangerous, go inside your space. I'll take care of your mother", her dad solemnly swore "Do not forget about my wine". Then he hanged up

So, in his dad's eyes, wine is much more important than hers. Why does she suddenly want to make a very bitter wine? Nevermind, that's her dad, she can only tolerate it.

Her eyes fell down on the fluff ball she was holding. If his dad saw this thing a while ago, maybe he would panic as this is a dangerous beast in his eyes. But Tiara doesn't feel that it is dangerous. Maybe because it feels too soft to hold?

If she plans to roam around this area, she can't bring this thing with her, but she doesn't have the heart to abandon it. She pursed her lips and said in her mind "I want to go in"

Tiara soaked the ball in the spring, but the ball still didn't move. So she took a basket and added some cushions before putting the ball inside. Then she went out and readied herself to roam around this planet.
