Chapter 5: Eldest brother is here

Theodore reluctantly left Tiara’s room to attend an urgent meeting due to today’s incident. He wanted his staff to be re-evaluated to make sure that the same incident won’t happen in the future, it’s not just because of Tiara, it’s about the integrity of the legion that he and his comrades tried to establish for the past 20 years.

Tiara continued reading her books after Theodore left. When she got tired of reading, she stopped and closed her eyes, when she opened, her eyes again to read she noticed that there were some scattered lights around her. She saw the same phenomenon when she first opened her eyes but she just didn’t take it to heart, she also saw it when she woke up a while ago but because of the happiness she had after finding out that her body can already move naturally.

Are her eyes broken? Is it the compensation she paid for having a normal body now?

She tried to touch one light and to her surprise, her fingertip absorbed it. Huh? What’s the situation? She observed the lights carefully. There are six colors of lights scattered around: white, purple, red, blue, brown, and green.

Are these colors stand for the spiritual energy? According to the books she read before, spiritual energy also come in six categories: lightning, psychic, fire, water, ground, and wood. The books also state that, everything around us has its own spiritual energy, nature itself is the embodiment of spiritual energy, but not all humans can use spiritual energy. Some humans can already absorb their bound spiritual energy the day they are conceived, while others take time for a maximum of five years. While they grow up, their body would just absorb their designated spiritual energy and at the age of seven, they can be able to summon their spiritual powers. If a person has a low mental power, they can only store a small amount of spiritual energy to use, while a person with higher mental power can store a larger amount of spiritual energy.

Now she concludes that these lights are spiritual energy and it only means that somehow, her mental power is already online and the genetic breakdown is already her history. The problem is, all the books said that there can only be one spiritual power for a person, so each person can only see and absorb one spiritual energy, now who can tell her why she’s seeing six?! According to the books, genes play an important role in spiritual energy to be acquired. Her father’s bloodline has fire energy while most of her mother’s bloodline has water and wood energy, so even if the two were combined there will only be three energies at most, so where did the other three come from? Tss, leave it, she doesn’t think she will die if she sees and absorbs these lights.

She relaxed her body and continued reading. She hasn’t turned the second page yet when she felt that the warship suddenly shakes then she looked at window to see another black warship landed nearby. She stood up to check whose warship it is then her eyes turned round when she saw the insignia of the first legion.

First legion = Eldest brother’s legion!

When she saw the black mecha coming out of the warship, she didn’t think anymore and ran outside bare footed.

The meeting of the seventh legion just finished when the first legion’s warship landed and just after a minute or two, a notification from the central command room that the commander of the first legion requested to enter their warship.

“Why is blackie number 1 so fast now? He was always late when we were studying, a real sister-con” Theodore chuckled as he approved the request

“If I have a cute little sister, I might be running fast to come here too” Luke said, he saw the image of the girl from the footage that they reviewed for the investigation of nutrient solutions. He must say that she deserves to be the daughter of Marshal Gerard and Madam Ayessa, while remembering the face he saw, he felt that the surroundings suddenly turned cold.

“Luke, I think being second in command still makes you idle; therefore, you must add the personal training of battalion 1 in your daily activity. Kai, send that memo to Nyx and to give her a few days of vacation”

“Noted commander”

Luke wanted to argue, who doesn’t know that the first battalion raised by the witch of tenth legion are spawned demons who are real bloodthirsty maniacs like the person in front of him. Although those demons can’t still match this guy, but a battalion consisting of 1300 bloodthirsty soldiers is enough to drive him crazy! Before he can voice out his argument, the commander is no longer in front of him.

As soon as Arthur landed on the planet where his sister is located, he immediately used his mecha to fly to the warship of the tenth legion. Arthur was a little surprised to see the man who welcomed him at the entrance of the tenth legion.

“Blackie number 1, long time no see” the guy smirked at him, he really hates how he was not able to defeat this guy during their schooldays, now if he punches him directly, he will need to face a court trial, tsk.

“Commander Paxley, thank you for welcoming me and for taking care of my sister, can I see her now?” since he can’t defeat this lizard, he will just take his sister then leave

“You are still as boring as before. Let’s go to my office first, I will ask someone to-” Theodore stopped when he felt something was about to attack him so, he moved sideways and that thing went straight to Arthur “Move Arthur!” The warning was already late because that fast “thing” is now clinging tightly on Arthur’s waist

“Eldest brother, you’re here already”

Arthur was stunned when he felt someone hugged him, when he saw the long black hair, he calmed down but hearing her talk and seeing her stand made him too shocked to react, his eyes who were known to be cold suddenly had a tinge of warmth “Rara, are you healed now?” he asked as he raised his sister’s face, he was greeted by a warm smile, for more than five years he wasn’t able to see this personally. His sister is fine now.

“Lady Flecker, why did you come here without wearing shoes? The floor is too cold for you” Theodore said wanting to separate the two, he doesn’t know why looking at them hugging stings his eyes

“Huh? Sorry, I forgot because I was too excited to see my brother” Tiara said in a low voice

“It’s fine Rara” Arthur then took something from his storage space “Since the day I found out that you were missing, I always bring things that you might use with me” Then the commander of the first battalion kneeled down to put shoes on his sister’s feet.

Theodore’s smile cracked when he saw the interaction of the siblings

“Commander Paxley, I sincerely give my gratitude to you for saving my sister, in return, as the heir of the house of Flecker, just say if you need anything from our family in the future and I will do my best to give it” Arthur is not like George who can just throw a knight’s oath at will, he is the heir of their house and also a commander. If Theodore wants to join his force together with his, he will need to fulfill it but the parliament would surely be against that. There are a lot of things he needs to consider, but he must show his sincerity and gratefulness to this man since he saved his dear sister

Theodore smiled after hearing what the other party said then he showed a sincere face “ok, I will reluctantly agree with the heir of the house of Flecker’s promise. Aside from that, as a prince of the empire, please tell your brother that I can’t take a knight’s oath as it is against the first royal family rule.”

Arthur was taken aback after hearing what Theodore said, he felt like he is missing something but he can’t just point it out “Alright, I understand. Then we will leave first” then he was about to hold his sister when he noticed she is no longer by his side

“You said, this one looks good so, I’ll give this to you. Next time I will prepare a better gift for you. Thank you for saving me”

Arthur heard his sister then he saw that she gave the black and red knot bracelet that all men in their family coveted. No, no, no, he must stop that lizard from taking it “Rara, don’t worry, I will make sure that I will give a suitable gift for him next time, it took you too long to finish that one, I’ll just keep it” Arthur said while trying to get the bracelet

“No need to give me anything, this one is perfect” Theodore took the bracelet with the speed of light. He quickly wore it on his left hand. It’s made of spider lily’s web, a very strong thread used in making nets for capturing star beast. The color is like the combination of his and her eyes, he likes it. “Thank you Rara”

“Who told you that you can call her that?” Arthur’s gentlemanly demeanor totally collapsed now, how can this lizard call his sister that way? Is he worthy? A very hot aura suddenly envelope the place

“As long as you like it” Tiara said to Theodore, then she grabbed her brother’s sleeve gently and said “Eldest brother, I want to go home” her voice sounded soft and pitiful that even the other people around wanted to bring her home right away. Arthur who was still busy ejecting his aura quickly stopped “Okay Rara, we will go home now” then he carried his sister in his mecha and didn’t care about saying goodbye to others, hmp, unworthy.
