Carsen's POV
I did not know what to do because the feelings I was having after kissing her were a bit too dangerous for her.
I did not want to hurt her or do anything further with her in the office, so I had to send her out.
She wanted more of me, but I could not risk it at all. I was on the verge of marking her, so I had to send her away.
As she left disappointed, I did not know what to do; all I was doing was trying to protect her from myself.
I sat down thinking of what I could have done and also trying to convince myself that I was not too harsh to her.
I did not want to hurt her feelings on purpose; all I did was protect her. As I sat in my seat, the only thing that kept ringing in my brain was to spend a quality and unforgettable moment with her.
