As I was going through the files that Emily had sent to me, I got a message from Darren, my alpha.
"Please, Carsen, I know that you will definitely be busy by now, but I think you should go to the headquarters right away. They need your help over there," Darren wrote in the message.
I knew that it was another problem, but I had to go and see for myself even though I was at work.
I think it was high time my assistant stepped up because, by the look of things, I would be very occupied during this period.
I had to start packing up my things immediately so that I could reach the headquarters immediately before whatever was happening there would die down.
